Three Chimneys Meet

It's that time of year....finally! Our first meet of the season AT Three Chimneys. At the bottom of the email I am including the info sent from TCF. But first....

*We do have practice tomorrow morning. We will be working on relays, starts and finishes so please come to your assigned practice time. This will allow the relays to practice with each other.

*If you have not done so yet, please get the SwimTopia app on your phone. It allows you to see what events the swimmers are in as well as received alert updates from me (especially important for inclement weather).

*We are exchanging lineups by noon, so changes cannot be made after that. If you are NOT going to be here and you are listed as swimming events, we need to know NOW!

*Theme: LUAU....come in your best Hawaiian gear to practice and to the meet!

*Be AT Three Chimneys by 4:15. We will have Coach Zach and Coach Meagan to check in the swimmers near the volunteer tent. We begin our warm up by 4:40 but we want swimmers in the tents so bullpen parents can find their people and everyone is marked. Tomorrow morning you'll get an email with how to mark your child (I hope).

*Your swimmers MUST stay in their assigned bullpens during the meets. Parents who are working those bullpens are the only parents that should be in there. Parents not working can bring/find seating along the side of the deck. However, your swimmers cannot come sit with you. Our bullpen parents don't need to be panicking looking for missing swimmers.

*Volunteers: check in with Jen Brackins at the volunteer tent upon arrival. If you are second shift, it is imperative you arrive on time for your job. Listen for the all call made during the meet (usually around event 40-42).

*Three Chimneys does sell concessions, but your swimmers should make sure they have water and healthy snacks to get through the meet. Concessions options are in the email from TCF at the bottom of this email.

*I'm sure I'll forget something that will be included in the morning's email.

Thank you all for your patience and work to make this season happen for our kids!!!!!

Go Breakers!!

From TCF:

VOLUNTEERS: The announcer will let everyone know when it is time for second half volunteers to report for duty. :)

CONCESSIONS: We will be selling candy, chips, cold drinks, pizza (cheese and pepperoni), and Chick Fil A sandwiches & nuggets.. Dippin Dots will be there as well. We take both cash and Venmo at our concessions stand.

PARKING: Parking is difficult, due to limited space. Parking is available on side streets. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS and please obey no parking signs, as we are only allowed to use one side of the street. Thanks so much for your attention to this!

WEATHER: Hopefully the weather will cooperate this week but I do want to let you know that we do not have indoor shelter down at our pool. In case of inclement weather, please have families wait in their cars.
